Mission:

The University of Nigeria Alt Protein Project strives to familiarize, convene and
engage the next generation of scientists, innovators and entrepreneurs in order to plan
and establish future careers in the field of Alt proteins and to build a healthy, sustainable
and ethically just food system in Nigeria.

Objective:

Our objective is to catalyze the growth of the alternative protein field in Nigeria
and Africa at large through Education, Research, Innovation, Community Building and
Awareness.

Global Student Community:

Th Alt Protein Project is a global community of students
working to build the alternative protein ecosystems in their respective universities. Our
student community can be found in Africa, Europe, America, Asia and the Asia-Pacific
region.
